Power Cut! Work delayed but not stopped!!

I think contractors in the town cut through a cable somewhere and the whole of Haverfordwest was plunged into darkness – all the traffic lights were off. Not for too long. Meanwhile in the Shed, the tea urn was back on and work could continue. Peter & Eifion were making pens, Kevin was bowl turning and Nigel & Brian were rubber gloved (?!) to pour more resin into molds for the acrylic pens . . .the HaverShed production line was a GO. We welcomed some new members . . . Eric and another Nigel. Steve’s neighbour (with the broken but now mended fork) was so pleased with the repaired fork that she donated a box of tea bags & biscuits – cheers Sheila!!

Secretary Kevin takes a tea break from his bowl turning – another Christmas gift for the family?
Peter gets his HaverShed initiation from making one of those pens!
Eifion also taking a tea break (we get a lot of those) from pen making
The – almost – finished pen!
Meanwhile back in the “Muppet laboratory” – Prof Honeydew & his assistant Beaker, continue with the mixicology that is acrylic mold making! We still have half a dozen pens for sale!!
This is part of the lab – Brian has devised these tubes to help make the acrylic material for the pens.
Bit of special magic here – how do they get those rippling, marble like patterns in those pens??

Just a reminder that we are still open Wednesdays – 11-1600, sometimes a bit earlier and also on the odd Saturday (see our facebook page or join our WhatsApp group). Don’t forget the darts event, Sunday 3rd Dec!!
