Another Wet Day but work begins on the garden

Yes, we’ve had over nine inches of rain in October. Quite busy today, sorting out the committee, what to spend our Lotto grant on, re-arranging the “Shed”, getting more strip lights to work and getting up to our little garden to start work on clearing it. Terry & Fred plus dog, set to with shears & loppers, clearing the brushwood and hidden logs to get the garden area in a better state for the Shed’s use come Spring & Summer. It will be a good asset – a good community asset too. It was good to see a few new faces – you’re always welcome – Wednesdays 11-4 ish. There’s always a hot drink and sometimes biscuits too.
