Project Crib Board!

It was a busy day on Wednesday – nearly 20 different folk passed through our shed! A couple of new guys plus an inquisitive family. Richard started making his crib board with help from Keith & John. He’d made a cardboard template for the holes and this was used to mark up the wood with a bradawl. After some planing & sanding, it was ready for drilling . . .another week.

Expertly drawn template for the holes!
The beginnings of making the crib board from a plain piece of wood – shamphor, sand and drill holes – first sharpen the plane!
And here’s the first stage completed – next time: drill all the holes!
