HaverShed members enjoyed a second visit to the Milkwood Project, Llawhaden. This time the focus was on Lee’s new forge, so we set to, making metal coat hooks! We learnt about turning the fan handle to blow air into the furnace, getting the steel rods just hot enough, bashing on the anvil and turning a plain rod into a hook! Great fun and good socialising!
